1. How do you remove the water?

After use, I make a hole in the middle and lift the bag slightly so that the water can drain through the gutter.

2. Won't the bacteria still end up in the tank?

Because the feet do not come into direct contact with the tub, less contact bacteria, such as speeling skin, enter the tub. Of course, you must disinfect the tub with disinfectants after letting the water drain. I use the Barbicide Bullet Spray for this, let it soak in for 10 minutes, wash away after and place a new cover.
